Mission Statement:

Phi Delta Theta was organized with three principle objectives: The cultivation of friendship among its members, the acquirement individually of a high degree of mental culture, and the attainment personally of a high standard of morality.   

Vision Statement:

We, the men of the Maryland Delta Colony of Phi Delta Theta at Johns Hopkins University pledge ourselves to the following principles:

 

Redefining Fraternity: To embody the cardinal principles of Phi Delta Theta set forth by the Immortal Six as we redefine common misconception through sound moral action.

 

Development: To cultivate and maintain the highest standards of organizational and personal well-being through advancement of mental acuity and strong leadership.

 

Involvement: To further the causes of social, economic, and moral progress as active, selfless, and leading members of the Johns Hopkins and greater Baltimore community.

 

Diversity: To foster an acceptance of all people regardless of culture, creed, and ideals, to bring together prodigious gentlemen from all walks of life, and to uphold a brotherhood that represents a wide variety of interests and activities on campus.

 

Chivalry: To instill and uphold the unwavering nature of the indomitable spirit of integrity through the strengthening of compassion towards others, and upholding all tenets of honor.

 

Pride: To promote a general appreciation and admiration for not only our colony and the international fraternity of Phi Delta Theta, but also for the entire Greek community at Johns Hopkins University.
